Global Warming and its effects on human health

I also setup a Google Alert account on (Global Warming) I got my first alert today with about 25 results. The topic of the alerts was narrowed as far as being specific to global warming but there was lots of sub topics based on global warming. For example Global Warming and the IDITIROD sled dog race. Thoughts about global warming in China etc.

If you identify any electronic books that would be useful, you also need to record the web address, the site where you accessed it, and the date you accessed it.
If you have trouble with your research, in addition to the librarians at Mesa State, you may use the following services:
Record Searches
One of the most important research strategies you can use as you collect information is to keep track of your searches. Note not only the keywords or phrases and the search strategies you used with them (wildcards, Boolean search, author search, and so on) but also how many sources the search turned up and whether those sources were relevant to your research project.
In your research log, record the following information for each source you search.

Research Log:

Resource Searched -
Internet
Search Terms - Global Warming+Climate+effects
Search Strategies - Narrow each search to a specific asspect of Global warming. (Weather / Natural Disaster / Animal Extinction / Etc.)
Date -2/13/08
Hits - Usually around 15 hits per search depending on how narrow the search was.
Relevance -
I had good results with my search I rarely got abstract hits on Global Warming.
(Scale of 1–5) - (4)

Notes:
I bookmarked most of the relavent information I got back on my search. I did however save my results for future reference if the need arises.

I gather from your blog that you have practiced these different types of research methods (mathematical, Boolean & power searching) more than once. I am somewhat new to Boolean and power searches, thus I don't always get the results I am looking for. If you have any tips I would really appreciate it!
